The Salif Keita Global Foundation Born in the African country of Mali, Salif Keita is recognized around the world as the "Golden Voice of Africa". He is the recipient of numerous Grammy nominations and is generally considered to be one of the world's greatest international singers. As a person with Albinism himself, Salif Keita has spent decades working to raise awareness and money for free healthcare and educational services for people with Albinism in Africa. He also seeks to create international advocacy for the plight of people with albinism around the world. In 2004, he was named the UN Ambassador for Music and Sports.
